АНУ-ын Засгын газрын тэтгэлэг буюу Төрийн департаментаас жил бүр зарладаг Фулбрайтын эрдэмтний хөтөлбөрийн сонгон шалгаруулалт эхэлсэн байна.
Фулбрайтын Оюутны хөтөлбөр нь магистрын зэрэг олгох бүрэн тэтгэлэгт хөтөлбөр. АНУ болон бусад орны ард түмэн хоорондын харилцан ойлголцлыг бэхжүүлэх зорилготой. Тус хөтөлбөр нь АНУ-ын Төрийн департаментын боловсролын солилцооны хөтөлбөрүүдийн хамгийн том хөтөлбөр нь бөгөөд одоогоор дэлхийн 160 гаруй оронд хэрэгжиж байна.
АНУ-ын Засгийн газрын санхүүжилттэй Фулбрайтын Оюутны хөтөлбөр нь Монгол Улсад 1994 оноос хэрэгжиж эхэлсэн ба жилд 4-5 оюутан хамрагддаг. 2011 оноос Монгол Улсын Засгийн газартай хамтарсан хөтөлбөрийг эхлүүлснээс хойш АНУ-ын ЭСЯ-аас тус хөтөлбөрийг жилд хоёр удаа зохион байгуулж, жилд дунджаар 13-15 оюутан хамруулж байна.
Хөтөлбөрийн сонгон шалгаруулалт нэг жилийн хугацаанд үргэлжилж, шалгарсан оролцогчид өргөдөл гаргасны дараа жилийн зун хөтөлбөрөө эхлүүлдэг. АНУ-ын их дээд сургуулийн мастерын хөтөлбөрүүд 1-2 жил үргэлжилдэг. Энэ удаа Фулбрайтын эрдэмтний хөтөлбөр зарлагдсан байна.

The 2020-2021 Fulbright Scholar Program
The Public Affairs Section of the Embassy of the United State of America in Ulaanbaatar is now accepting applications for the 2020-2021 Fulbright (Visiting) Scholar Program. The application deadline is 8:30 a.m. on Friday, November 4, 2019. The Fulbright Scholar Program offers one six-to-nine month research grant, and is intended for highly motivated scholars with advanced degrees (Ph.D.), or professional equivalency from higher education institutes, think tanks, and relevant government and non-government organizations who propose to conduct post-doctoral research at U.S. institutions in the fields of their specialization. We seek proposals on a wide range of topics in all disciplines with a priority in STEM education and university administration.
To qualify, applicants must:
Be a Mongolian citizen, currently living in Mongolia;
Hold a doctoral degree or equivalent professional training;
Have a minimum of 10 years of full-time work experience; and
Hold excellent English language skills (i.e. ACTFL Advanced Low or higher).
Preference will be given to candidates who have not had extensive recent experience in the United States. Extensive U.S. experience could include:
Individuals with recent U.S. experience (more than 6 months within the last 5 years); and
Individuals who have attended a graduate school in the U.S. for one academic year or more during the last seven years.
Individuals with U.S permanent resident status are ineligible.
Grant benefits for the Fulbright Visiting Scholar Program include all related expenses, a stipend, and cost of the grantee’s two-way international travel. The program allows dependent/s to accompany the grantee on J-2 Visa. However, the award do not include an additional allowance for dependents. All expenses for J-2 dependents must be covered by the grantee. Please note that the program stipend is not sufficient to support anyone in addition to the grantee. Applicants must return to Mongolia immediately upon completion of their research or teaching assignments. Upon successful completion of the grant, all grantees are required to report to the Embassy and submit their research findings in writing.
